The team at Foursquare Workspace have had a long-standing relationship with PEI-Genesis; we've provided furniture for their offices for over 10 years and were also tasked with the refurbishment of the washroom facilities at their European Distribution Center in 2017.

PEI-Genesis recently got in touch with us again, but this time to see if we could reconfigure and update their workspace in Eastleigh to create a productive and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Plan

PEI-Genesis were going through a period of growth, so their new workspace needed to maximise the space and storage available, whilst incorporating a bright, open plan style throughout.

Works

To minimise disruption, the refurbishment was completed in two phases and, where possible, carried out outside of working hours.

During this time, we worked on the existing office and meeting room spaces. The office was completely redecorated, new partition walls were introduced with geometric manifestation and new lighting was installed by the client. Flooring was replaced throughout the office with Burmatex Alaska - a new hard wearing carpet tile, this was installed to a bespoke design.

In terms of furniture, we introduced brand new, ergonomic seating by our sister company Office Furniture and Interiors along with white work stations and storage units, perfect for reflecting natural light to create a bright and airy space. The desks feature height settable sliding tops which make access to IT simple.

To finish off the refurbishment, a section of unused space in the office was developed into a breakout area for employees to relax, eat lunch and even hold informal meetings. The space was completed with the installation of modern, durable and practical LVT flooring.

Result

The offices at PEI-Genesis are now more reflective of their corporate culture and have created a contemporary, productive space for their employees to work in.
